Last week I popped in to review the small spa located at Nova Constantia Boutique Hotel in Constantia called Loveit Spa.
It was a wet and windy day and I was only too pleased to be retreating into this gorgeous cocoon of a treatment bed, complete with a princess canopy. Did someone say spoilt!?
Loveit spa has been created as a place of escape where you can enjoy an upmarket spa experience in an exclusive setting. Only the best products are used for facials and massages. I was lucky enough to experience Candice’s signature 60-minute massage AND an incredible Lamelle facial.
The massage was JUST what I needed and my body thanked her for days afterwards. While chatting to Candice she mentioned that massage is her passion and this was very evident in the effort and time she took to ensure that I left feeling revitalised – and she really worked those stubborn neck knots I always seem to have. I left feeling sleepy and sore but it a very good way…. Her massage will be hard to beat elsewhere!
The 30 minute express Lamelle facial consisted of a gel cleanser followed by a product known as cathepzyme (an enzymatic exfoliator). This was followed by some extractions and eyebrow waxing and then some amazing facial massage with a heavenly product which Candice later told me was a massage cream from Lamelle’s new professional essential range. I drifted to a very happy place during this stage of the treatment and can’t tell you too much more about what took place only to know that the facial was rounded off with some aftercare products such as a hydrating serum, eye cream and a light moisturiser. For a quick 30 minute treatment it felt much longer!
Besides facials and massages, Loveit Spa also offers an array of other spa services such as waxing, manicures, pedicures, spray-tans and peels all in the privacy of a one-on-one spa setting in the secluded streets of rural Constantia. Being based at one of the best boutique hotels in the Southern Suburbs, Loveit guests are welcome relax around the pool after their treatment to make the most of their stay.
