These images are taken in Lerici situated on the Bay of Poets in Italy. I spent a few hours there at the end of the day and was fortunate to watch a beautiful sunset over this pretty bay. I was particularly enchanted by the wonderful atmosphere created by all the many Italian families out enjoying their waterfront walk on a weekday evening. There were grandparents chatting to their friends, teenagers hanging out on the benches and kids running around playing games – all chatting loudly in Italian of course! I loved experiencing a little slice of their everyday life – it seemed pretty perfect at that moment!
