Spa Review: My morning at Mona Lisa Skin and Body Bar in Clifton

I won’t lie… I love being a blogger. Little did I realise when I started this hobby over 4 years ago that there would be so many amazing opportunities and treats available to me down the line! I am truly grateful for each and every one, but today’s post is one of my favourites…. An amazing indulgent morning spent enjoying a QMS facial at Mona Lisa Skin & Body Bar in Camps Bay!

Now I’ve had a QMS facial before so I didn’t have to be asked twice if I would like to enjoy another one… the answer is always YES. A QMS facial is one of the very best I have experienced and I adore them!

I arrived at the tranquil, private Mona Lisa Skin and Body Bar located at a private home in Clifton (with an amazing view!), excited to spend a few hours relaxing and pampering my skin with some of the very best skin care products in the world!

I was met by the owner and beauty therapist of Mona Lisa Skin and Body Bar, Lisa-marie, and immediately knew I would be in good hands. Lisa-marie is professional, personable and passionate about good skin care (as is evident by the fact that she stocks QMS!!) I loved meeting her and we had a lovely time chatting over a pedicure prior to my facial. She clearly has a lot of experience and knows exactly how to put clients at ease with her knowledge and enthusiasm for meeting your specific skin care needs!

I lay down confident that I would walk out looking amazing…. And of course the results were great. My skin looked radiant and rested, clear and calm, plump and pampered!! If you feel you need to spend a little bit of time out indulging yourself or want to treat your skin to the awesomeness that is QMS then make an appointment to see Lisa-marie at Mona Lisa. I highly recommend this little gem of a spa as it’s wonderfully private and really restful – no other clients around – just you and Lisa-marie. If I lived on that side of the mountain I would make this my local beauty salon… And with the reasonable prices on offer, from R450 for a QMS facial, I just might!
